This Privacy Policy describes how Monozoro ("the App"), developed by Dow Group, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App to connect to your organization's Odoo instance running the Dow Connect (WhatsApp Business) module.
1. Who This App Is For
Monozoro is a business tool for employees of companies that use the Dow Connect WhatsApp integration on their own Odoo instance. It is not intended for use by the general public and requires valid login credentials issued by your employer/organization.
2. Information We Collect
When you use Monozoro, the following information is transmitted between your device and your organization's own Odoo server (which your employer controls, not Dow Group):
- Account information — your name, email address, and login session, used to authenticate you against your organization's Odoo instance.
- Phone numbers — WhatsApp contact numbers associated with conversations you access.
- Message content — text messages, photos, videos, documents, and voice recordings sent or received through WhatsApp conversations you participate in.
- Business records — order, invoice, payment, and customer-support information tied to a contact, shown to you within the app (e.g., the Contact History feature).
- Account and device identifiers — an internal user ID (tied to your Odoo account) and a push-notification device token, used to deliver notifications to your device.
3. How Information Is Used
All information listed above is used strictly for app functionality: authenticating you, displaying and organizing WhatsApp conversations, enabling messaging, and connecting conversations to CRM/Helpdesk/HR records in your organization's Odoo instance. We do not use this information for:
- advertising (first-party or third-party),
- analytics/behavioral profiling,
- product personalization/recommendations, or
- any purpose unrelated to operating the App's core features.
4. Third-Party Services
To provide messaging functionality, the App and its backend rely on:
- Twilio — delivers and receives WhatsApp messages on behalf of your organization.
- OpenAI — if your organization enables the optional AI auto-reply feature, message text may be processed by OpenAI's API to generate suggested/automatic replies.
- Expo / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications to your device using a device token; no analytics or advertising services are used.
None of these third parties use your data for their own advertising or tracking purposes in connection with this App, and none of your information is sold or shared with data brokers.
5. Data Storage
Your organization's data (messages, contacts, business records) is stored on your organization's own Odoo instance, which your employer controls and administers. Dow Group does not separately store a copy of your messages outside of your organization's instance.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Data is retained according to your organization's own Odoo instance configuration. To request deletion of your account data, contact your organization's Odoo administrator, or reach out to us at the contact below and we will assist in routing the request.
7. Your Choices
- You may revoke device permissions (camera, photo library, contacts, notifications, microphone) at any time via your device's Settings.
- Logging out of the App removes locally stored session data from your device.
8. Children's Privacy
Monozoro is a business tool intended for employees of client organizations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
